What is truth?

The meaning given to children that we've taught

Correctness, sincerity, and the need for authentic proof-

I, personally, think not.

What has been learned by this growing of age

Is the need for deceit, deception, and sham

A crooked idea that what they set to page

Should by their truth mislead their fellow man.

And we, as elders, hide behind false accuracy

Unsuspecting, we believe in our credulity

Teaching on without ever knowing that in our infallibility

We have taught a corrupted truth of honesty.
